Busy Christmas! Ann's Wedding
This year christmas is definitely a busy one for me! The nite before had carolling and a small fellowship gathering, gift exchange till 3am. It so fun! But I need to sleep....sad...hope actually can stay till morning.
Then christmas day morning, crawl out of bed in the morning at 6.30am, bathe and take a cab to Ann's house as we need to be there by 8am. Phew! I wasn't the last one ahahh.....Sharon and Mui were the last two.
At 8.15am, the bridegroom came, as usual that Chee Seng is so full of ideas and smart. They actually snatch away the paper of question we suppose to test him. So, no choice, last minute, on the spot think of questions. Ask him to sing and make him eat coffee powder, golden syrup, chilli padi and drink lemon juice (freshly squeeze). HAHAHAa! all the brother got internal argue becos of that..... And the Ang Bao we got is so little so sad....And I still knock my hand on the door metal grill.
After tat we follow the couple to their house, help the bride to change then we go back to the bride house again for the tea ceremony. Never did I expect that Ann's family is so huge. Poor them got to kneel down to serve tea to the elder's goodness. We couldn't wait for the tea ceremony all of left to do our own stuff and to do our hairs.
For me, rush to Andy's place at 1.30pm to make a hairdo, not bad quite like it. Then rush down to church for service. Didn't able to wait for service to end, left at 6pm rush home as Wai and the rest had reached our place. Bem and I changed, make up finish everything at 7pm, which is late for me. No choice got to inform Guizhu can't help out at the reception. Her march-in cd was also with me.
Rushed down bye 8pm, make it pass to the DJ in the sound system room. Took lots of pictures. They looked so good. Ann looked so beautiful. She is like a Big Star!
The rest of us also look not bad. All the girls, did their hair and first time I see everyone in their best for Ann. We are all in Blue, different shades of blue. But Dear Ryan, forget!!!!
After the dinner, went to their room, had gift exchange. Help Ann to change. Poor Chee Seng, after so many rounds of bottom up, he finally vomit and drop down into the bed.
Then few of us went home, the rest went to a pub for a drink. Don't know wat name, but is a place where alot of salsa dancers gathers. They have a wine bar, we went in and sat down to chit chat. Then Alan came up with a came to involve everyone. We order 2 litre of beers and 6 glasses then throw dice to see which cup u have to drink. If the glass has beer got to drink lor and throw till the glass got no beer.
Then we left ard 2am. Wat a long day! but a good gathering tho.
Let's see who is next to get marry....Ann or Jenny!
Journey back to Singapore
Early in the morning, David went to school to collect his supp paper, is a take home paper.
After he reached home no long, his fren came over, this fren is also one of the top scorer for this paper.
He explained the answer and question to him while I packed the luggages. Goosh! they are heavy and so many of them.....7 I think
Flight at 12.55pm, at 11.30am we are still at home cos they are not done yet, fortunately, Darryl came and helped to bring the luggage to the car and fetch us to the airport. Thanks alot! or else we gonna be very late!
Reached the airport at 12.10pm I think, queue and check-in. But the check-in staff told us that I'm upgraded to business class while David remain in economy. So, I demanded for a solution, I stated tat I want to seat with him. Either I downgrade to economy which she said i'm silly. Or upgrade David too. So, after much discussion with her manager or someone in the higher rank.
We both given seats in the business class. BUT!! not ended yet, we can't board the plane with jeans and tshirts. We have to change into something nice in 10 mins. So David said.'Ok, for the sake of business class i'll change' hahahaha..........so funny...
So, two ppl running across the check-in counter and packed back our luggage and rush to the gate for boarding. Is really amazing abt human, while we are queueing to board, there's a staff doing checks on our boarding pass and passport. When he saw us, his smile suddenly became bigger and greeted us..... wow....
We sat in the upper deck, the seats are cushioned and bigger, can sleep straight lei.... Then the air-stewardess came to take our beverage order and lunch order, I got a shock. Then during the lunch time, she place a table cloth and then the tray, I tot 'Oh I got all my food', but who knows only the appetiser. Then slowly, they served course by course, and they actually called us by surname. Interesting.
The fligh was smooth, but I suffered from migraine, so angry, but thank God i'm in good seat or else i'll have vomit like nobody bizness in economy class.
Reached home, put down the stuff and went to my auntie house for dinner cos is 'Dong Zhi'.
Home - cooked food is good!
David continue to do his supp paper till morning, fax to Australia then we went back to his JB house the next day.
Last Sunday in Sydney
We decided to attend the 11am Church service for this Sunday cos 9am is too early hehheeee..
This will be our last time I think to attend Hillsung Service.
They have great place of worship, a band and a choir.
The speaker that day was good too, it seem that God wants me to be there, she preach on how to put down the burden women face regardless u are single or attached.
She speaks with action, she uses dumbell and luggage to illustrated the burden.
Great!
After church, went to fish market. Wow huge place with seafood and fresh ones. We bought a seafood platter for $27. Cool! lots of varieties but in the end still can't finish......
That day was a very very hot day, hotter than in Singapore, the air is stale, the wind is hot. I had migraine tat day....
We also went to Rocks Market, I bought a pair of earring for the Elmo's wedding.
Then we decided to rush home and rest, really can't stand the heat.
In the evening, we met up Ada for dinner. We went to a Japanese restaurant for dinner, resturant called JU JU. We had a beef hotpot. Fantastic food!! yum yum! This trip ate lots of delicious food.
That's end our day.
Symphony of Angels
Morning - David went to back to his old house to meet up with his landlord.
10am- Get ready. He came back and brought me to Paddington Market, a place which i'll go whenever I go to Sydney. So, had a waffle, YUM YUM!. Bought an anklet and bag.
Wanted to find stuff for Glenn and Minyu but didn't see anything nice. So sad.....
1 pm - went home, sent Kenneth to the Airport. Won't see him till he come to Singapore to meet David. Then we went to East Garden. Window shopping, went home to rest and nap.
6pm - Work up get ready, make up and went to Sydney Opera House for a concert. This is my 2nd time watching at Opera House. The concert is called the 'Symphony of Angel' They will perform almost every year during Christmas. Like our SSO Christmas concert.
We sat at the very last row. haha cos is full house..
Rather anticipate..... The Program for that nite start from Corelli work to Modern Australia composers' works.
There are few instrumental ones - Corelli, Vivaldi- cello concerto, Bach's - as the sheep safely graze'.
There's few vocal ones- John rutter and australia composer, brahms.
Anyway, the Vivaldi cello concerto is played by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra principal cellist, she is only 26 yrs old. Her cello is from 1672 in Vivaldi period. Her sound is good. Glenn u can too.. Jia You!
The vocal works are performed by the orchestra and the Sydny Children's Choir. I tot how good can it be? But the moment they enter the hall and start singing. They never failed to catch my attention. Their voices in parts are so angelic. Thus, is so appropriate to the title of the concert.
When they sang the two piece by John rutter. I was so touched. I cried...Their voice are amazingly good. Let's hope they will come to singapore one day.
When they sing the finale 'Deck the Halls' they presented their cute and mischeivous side in the song. U can see their enthusiasm in them, in their gesture. U can see few are sick but they still stand in position and sing.
There's a solo soprano, wow her voice is powerful. When she sang 'Ademius', she ended with a powerful high notes. She is so good......wowow.....
I really enjoyed this concert. They actually traveled around let's hope they will come to Singapore.

Hmm... Busy moving house day. We have to move to Melvin house to stay for the remaining days as David had to return his house to the landlord
Morning, David fetch two trips to send all his frens to the airport. Then we start to move house. By the time, we move everything to melvin's place, is time for dinner.
Thus, we decided to catch a show after dinner. We went to Hungry Jack for dinner, Great and Yummy new Burger!! Wish Singapore BK will have tat too.
Then we went to catch a movie with Kenneth. Title of the show 'Lemonade Snicket- a series of Unfortunate events'. Starring by Jim Carrey. He was the bad guy in the show that cause all the Unfortunate children in the movie. The 3rd child is so cute.
That's end my day - Boring....................

Hmm... wake up in the morning, then went out with Melvin and Mike (the Cat and the Mouse) to Chinatown, as Melvin need to buy abalone for his family...Wow so good! abalone.
We took a bus down.
Before we go shopping for that, we went to a jap resturant (Glenn, u like the food there too) in Chinatown for lunch. Ate the lunch special for that day. Yum...a mini chicken cutlet, a seaweed udon soup and miso soup.... that's a lot for a lunch actually. As usual can't finish, so David has to finish for me beside his own cold udon.
After Lunch, went to paddy's market, bought the macademia nuts. Then went shopping in town. U believe it? I spend about $300 on clothings.
Heart pain pain... but bought a nice pair of jeans, cool tho. And it just fits after I try....so bought heehee... $109
Nvm, the shoppping spree was great! even tho of the pain...in the pocket.
Had dinner and slept early, cos the next day need to move house.
Sydney Day 2
Today is my 2nd day in Sydney.
Woke up pretty early as David and Mike need to return a pick-up which they had rented for moving house by 10am.
Wash up and waited for them to come over and we went for breakfast. We had Oporto breakfast, this is new, and taste good. Bacon and egg burger... yum yum
After breakfast came back and continue to clean up the house and I started to packed more of his stuff like his clothing esp the winters one. Then wipe the windows and vacuum abit. Wow... in Singapore also don't have to do, now two shoulder blade ached like mad. But of course, 1 more ppl help work done faster. But at last, the house is more or less cleaned up. Now only left the necessacities which can be only do it on Fri itself.
David gonna be chauffeur, driving his frens down to the airport. We are the last 2nd to go back as Darryl will be the last one on 27th.
I was too tired decided take nap, when i wake up it is alreadi 8pm goodness sleep so long, tonite no need to sleep alreadi. When to Tea Inn for dinner, had beef brisket w rice. Hmmm.. so huge can feed 2 adults and a kid. So, in the end the food gone to waste la.
Oh and the weather, before I come, my darling told me weather hot, its summer. So I took all my lesser cloth tops and shorts here. U know wat? this evening is so cold like back to Winter time. Thank God I still have a thin jacket but my poor legs got to suffer la.
Tml, going to chinatown, let's hope got good weather, I don't have long sleeves top at all.
Shows here are lousy lousy lousy..... nothing to do, so here I am typing my blog... and so long hhahaa...
Another Holiday
Now I'm in the Airport just pass the custom. Waiting for my flight to depart. Suppose to take off at 0105hr but then due to some prob, my flight had delayed to take off at 0245hr... sigh... airport is such a boring place after 12 midnite. So now using their free internet but i'm left with 9 mins plus as each passenger allow 15 min.
Going to Australia for 8 days will be back on 21st. Kinda of sian lor cos the 7 hrs worth of flight could be a torture and this is my 5th trip alreadi. Later going to make myself go to bed.
Don't know wat's going to happen during this trip. No fren to meet.
Really miss the June trip, when Helen and Glenn flew over. Memorable. Let's hope this one too as it going to be our last trip there. But I havn't really travel ard Sydney which is rather sad...
Watever, just go, pack his stuff and come back. OKie left with 5 mins.
Sunday
Went to Church, good Sermon by Pr. Ai Zhen. Join the Choir pract but coughing most of the time. Still not well don't know how. Went to do my hair for 4 hrs. SEating there and wait for my hair to be done... Fortunately, the hairstylist is rather chatty so time was difficult to past after all. Angeline came to the salon to meet me then we met up with nic, rf for dinner.
Had dinner at the foodcourt in TM. Then went shopping as nic need to buy shirts. When to G2000. He tried on abt 8 shirtS? have a not bro?? but he looked super good in the blue strips one. So attracted by him when he step out of the fitting room. Even Rf and Angie agree. After all the fittings, he bought two shirts that has not discount and a black shirt. All look super good tho. Wear to church. Preacher and Pastor will definitely agree... but hmm.. U may spoil 'market'.
Then went to starbuck for coffee.
Came back heard Wanting not feeling well. Poor girl always sick. Pls look after yourself.
Reached home, surfed net, read few ppl's blogs. I feel so stressed, I hasn't been pract this holiday. I don't know how when school starts. I going to be in deep shit. HOw How How???
Wun be in Singapore most of the days too...

News
There are basically two types of news rite? Good or bad.
This week I have receive both types.
Sad.. Angeline's grandpa passed away on the 8 Dec. Thus, Angeline had to rush home half way thru the camp and was unable to join few of them for the KL trip. But really Thank God. He had his plan. It so happen that nick and meigui were returning back to Singapore that day. They could have book the taxi earlier but due to some reason the cab can only come ard 12 plus. Then we heard the new ard 10 plus am. Don't you agree God has his plan?
Good.. heard from Glenn, he is doing rather well in London. Go for class every mon, wed and Fri. The prof really like his playing and taught him longer time without charging him additional fee. Glenn... you always have that type of blessing.. Good... Cherish these ppl ard you. Esp Yoda too.
He went for an audition with Trinity college. But will not know the result till before christmas but I think he can make it... he mention that the room accoustic was very good and his cello sounded very very good, rite? hmm... All the Best!

Family Church Camp 6-9 Dec
Ha! I have went for my church for 4 days at Kota Tinggi, Kota Rainforest Resort.
The place looked like swiss cottages village. The eating area faced the mountains of trees. When we reached, it was raining, thus there are fog on the top of the mountain.. Looked so beautiful that u feel as thou u are in other countries.
Sermon- Speaker Pastor Tang, he spoke from the Book of 1 Cor. few of the chapters. He mention abt church unity and to serve as a united family in church. Prompt me to lots of reflections tho...
Makan- Every meal with Flies as companion but wat to do is either you eat or starve. The food were good.
Room- ours is the 2 storeys cottage. with the basic necessacity. Thank God our room didn't have much invasion of insect only a lizard. But the guys room next door were pretty eventful. Two incidents of frog in their toilet and lizard too. hahah... but they have the macho Mr Jason to catch hahha..
Fun- Definitely, we had indoor and outdoor games, even went swimming, first time that the whole pool was filled with church kids and bro and sis. See the littles ones swim were so cute cute, kawaii....
Weather- sad..rain 3 days out of 4. But still didn't stop us from carrying out our plans.
OOOHHH.. we went to see firefly.. great.. they look like christmas tress. it is so amazing and the funniest thing is can't take pic of them... Unique.
On the whole, the trip was good. Hope our Youth Fellowship can organise something like that next year....

Okie today... a student decided not to learn piano alreadi... so sad. a pity... hope she treats this month as a break la.
Very happy that Glenn called me last nite at 2am.... He said that the Prof like his playing.. that's very very good.... He gek me la, said that how beautiful the place is and said I'm a sleeping pig... haha dear boy... you know wat time is it? He also said that his clothing are warm enuff... Wat a relieve.. Ok no more worries for him....Enjoy yourself... if can please upload pics.
Met up with Angeline (Darryl's Gf), it has been so long after I last saw her... but as usual she is always so pretty... hei.. and pls don't keep saying u are old... we are young at hearts. Who's cares about the number ahhhahaaa...We went to eat at suntec Marche.. so long didn't go, the shops change place again..

A Heavy Hearted Day....
Ai ya don't know what to title for today... so simply write.
Taught the whole day.... so tiring... and still sick thus very moody.... cough till giddy....imagine that and nose blocked... my church camp on Monday... pls recover...
Heard about my practical exam result today, don't like the result but got to accept lor. What to do... I didn't prepare for the exam tat day... very sad.... sad .... sad....
Havn't tell my teacher... sigh.
Went to the funneral service again, today at 8pm, was looking around for him. Then saw his fellow youth... didn't see him. Sms him, and he was at the camp... too bad... Actually saw him last nite, wanted to call him and talk to him but see him busy talking to his youth and I have no voice and so tired... I decided not to and see.... can't meet him today... nvm la arrange another time.. If I see him today and talk to him I guess I'll be emotional. He is too sensitive that can read a person mind's till very scary......
hmm.. how's he in London?? I heard from Yinsi's bf that it is less than 10 in the day and minus in the nite.... and will get colder in Jan... Min... I kinda of wonder if his clothes are warm enuff lei that vain pot, ask him to get something real thick jacket he don't want....No news... is it good new??
Going to church from 6 to 9 dec... kinda of excited but also worry cos if my illness don't improve I scare I feel moody lei...Bros and Sis prayer request.....

Sad... Vs Happy...
Wake up after 5 hours of sleep. Thank God! no migraine, but my sore throat got worst....I think i only left with half of my voice now.... and throat irritating and itchy. Cough cough**
Went to the bookroom to wrap the door gifts and the invitation card for YF gospel rally.
Sad won't be around. Hope bro and sis will enjoy themselves... bring frens huh...
Good is we finish the work in less than 2 hours, we are very efficient workers yeah nick and jason!
Sad...why he hasn't call me yet?? has he arrived safely?? or still in the plane?? is he angry with me?? I hate the worry feeling... this 'stupid boy' never fails to let me worry.. and MISS him too.
SAD... news of the death of I-ning's grandmother..... I wonder how she feeling. Pray that God bless peace and consolation to the family members. Funneral service at 9.30pm
Had dinner with parents then went to buy cloth to make for Elmo's wedding. Reach home pract. piano. The elegies, the bach... Sight-read the fugue.. hmmm.. tricky and haydn. Got to start poulenc soon and reluctantly Mozart soon too.
At 9 plus, Jason fetch me from home to the funneral service. LOTs and LOts of ppl! Amazingly not enough chairs for guest at the void deck.
Sad...to see the faces of the family members the heavy hearted look on them.
Good...But we all know that the granny had united with God in heaven. As she is always a good testimony for the whole family.
Came back,
Happy...Finally saw him online. He has safely reach London.
Sad...no time to actually talk to him abt his trip. nvm... let him sort things out first....
Happy....Darling said that he misses me after watching a show in the Japanese Film Festival titled "Heaven's Bookstore". Will try to get hold of the DVD cos is a story abt a pianist hahaha...
Sad.. Minyu said tat practical result is out... I just want to know if i pass I dun wan to know my result, I know I did badly from the look of theexaminer.

Wake up tot got to teach student in the afternoon but who know they are so busy that they can't come for lesson...don't know why students now all so busy....
So oki lor no need to teach in the end.
When to my good friend house to manicure instead, reached her house at 3.45pm, then ended at 5.30pm. After that rushed to Hougang bookroom for a Fellowship discussion, in my mind the whole day thinking what to buy as a gift for Glenn....sigh....thinking for days....
Since in the bookroom, thus, decided to get a book for glenn.... look ard the shelves and shelves of books but don't know what to get till this book appear right in front of me like 'hei...this is it'
Then reached at 6.30pm, discussion ended halfway ard 8pm, went for dinner, after dinner 8.45pm, need to reach glenn's house by 9pm....
Left after that and got a cab shortly....in the cab angie called and said I forget my letter, a letter that Glenn needed so have to U-turn back to pick up thanks to Jason for bringing out the letter for me. Then to glenn's place
Hahhaa.. Glenn met me at his house bus-stop. Then I realised he is not ready to leave yet and Singapore Idol on tv. I checked his stuff, we went thru the list of things he needed to bring. Then he needs a bath.. Waited while I watched the result for Singapore idol. Yes! Taufig won....
Then we left his place at 11pm to airport. We were late as we suppose to meet Minyu at 11pm..sorrie....then ended up at coffee bean in T2 for a meal as Glenn not eaten yet. Yiwei was with us too....
Then at 1.30am, we wanted to go back to T1 but who know the Changi airport is so inefficient to off the skytrain so we had to walk and is so hot as we got to walk outside.
We were all hot and sticky...
So we are so tired we sat at the waiting chairs in front of the check-in row..... or (Chicken row) ahhaah........we took lots of pictures...too...but pics not with me...
Till 3.25am, then Glenn check in his luggage, a man with 2 boarding pass, one for his Mr Cello.
We went to Delifrance as i'm hungry till 5 am we walk to departure.... what a slow walk as we are all tired... heart starts to feel heavy too....
5.15am time for him to enter the departure gate... Sad and miss.....
A huggy goodbye..... and see him enter the departure gate...waved... and we left.
He gave me a call before he enter the gate... so sweet of him....
OHOH... hope he won't be angry with me cos of the book.... hope it help him instead...
So, minyu and I left, will see him online and see him in person next year don't know which date in Jan.....
Reach home slept and just wake up 10.40am... haha.... abou 5hours of sleep. Pray i don't suffer from migraine.
Waiting for his call when he reached London.
Back from Yinsi's House!
It has been a great and relaxing trip for the past 3 days.
Ate lots of nice food, some cook by yinsi's mom and some she drove us around to eat. YUM YUM!
I ate a big bao that is as big as a small side plate, me and minyu eat till so full. Then yinsi's mom cooked Hainanese chicken rice, and the chicken is kept by her grandma. We even went to see those chicken, there are so differnt species too hahaaa...........duck too
Then she drove us around to see the bungalow and houses....nice tho and the price quite alright we have the extra cash la..........a 2 story semi detached abt RM149,000 plus i think...not sure
Then we ate the best cha siew bao in Kulai and was indeed good..... can't believe it.
Also went to do pedicure, not bad too.... not very fantastic skills lei..
After came back from Kulai in train, I went to meet church youth for Ktv. Losing my voice so didn't sing well and much.... Went cos FRank leaving for states for a year.... sad.... cos gonna miss a fren in church, macho and has a good voice thought will be an additional voice for our mimi choir but sigh........ We'll wait for his return.
Tomorrow also sending Glenn off for England too, he is leaving for a month....sigh...gonna miss him too.... and his voice and bitching and his beautiful cello ahhaa...gonna accompany him with minyu at the airport till morning sigh... gonna lost my beauty sleep... ahahaha....
Glenn, this is a good opportunity, grasps it!
